About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they reach our users. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories

  2. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)

  3. Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and improve test coverage

  4. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI testing

  5. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

  6. Analyze test results and provide meaningful feedback to development and product teams

  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

  8. Ensure timely and high-quality releases by maintaining efficient test cycles

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related roles

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries to validate data

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
